HannahBells - From a small farmstead cheesemaker and their pampered Holsteins & Ayshires, the Shy Brothers create small "plugs" of cow's milk cheese that are just simply delicious. The lavender was our favorite but every flavor was wonderful. The tiny "plugs" are handy to use on cheese plates, stuffed in mushroom caps, or as a creamy center to stuffed meats. Even dipped in chocolate and served with fruit. Small bites of creamy/buttery goodness.
Beecher's Handmade Cheese - In the Seattle's historic Pike Place Market people press their noses against the windows at Beecher's Handmade Cheese to witness a vat of creamy white milk transformed by the expert hands of the cheesemaker. Their mac & cheese is always voted #1. They are also opening in NYC..but you can always buy online!

Valley Shepherd Creamery - Discovered at a farmer's market in Rye, Ny. These farmstead artisan cheeses are outstanding! The actually make gouda with nettles - a cheese that is hard to find outside of the Netherlands. They will ship cheese baskets, plates or 2lbs pieces of their cheese, also have homemade sheep milk yogurt.
Twig Farm - Twig Farm is a small goat dairy and cheese making business run by Michael Lee and Emily Sunderman. Located in West Cornwall, VT, they produce award-winning aged raw milk goat cheeses. All are made by hand and aged in their aging cellar. Online they offer a 2 lb wheel of their Tomme. It is a raw goat milk cheese, aged about 80 days. It features a natural rind/ a semi-hard texture. Tomme was a ribbon winner at the American Cheese Society competition in 2006.
Redwood Hill Farm - Handmade farmstead goat milk cheese & yogurt (great for those who love yogurt but are allergic to cow milk). The goats are raised certified humane, the happy goats must translate into great cheese because the products here are top knotch. We sampled all the several- crottin, bucheret, chevre and camellia (camembert-style) - all outstanding. Our favorite yogurt was the mango/apricot.

We are guessing that the "old"variety must be off the charts. Highly recommended - takes about a week to received shipment.

Uplands Cheese Co. - Pleasant Ridge Reserve is a farmstead raw cow's milk cheese, winner of top awards, it is hand-washed, individually turned daily and aged for 4- 18 months. It is an original cheese reminiscent of French Gruyere but made in WI.

These amazing cakes arrive in a nice red gift tin, the cakes are in perfect condition ready to serve or freeze! A wonderful success story here - In 1982 Caroline first made a 7 layer caramel cake for her son's christening. Friends began to order them for their parties and for gifts, before she knew it she was shipping them all over the country! While she is know for the 7 layer caramel, the 5 layer coconut clould (so addictive) and the 7 layer southern chocolate are also big winners. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite.
